People's Park 37th Anniversay
- Berkeley California, April 23, 2006

Peoples Park Bezerkley
in the beginning was a dry sand plot
empty and crying out
for life and as we stood in line
passing squares of sod and greenness
we turned brown to green to cops to fences
to more growing things that wouldnt be stopped
and the flow continues as we show
the world and mother earth
our love and repsect when we hold hands
turns deseted lands into circles of sharing
of giving and helping and caring
our feet dancing on that very sodgrass
we stood together so hopefully
a long time ago in an infinite life
we handed each piece of green squared love
down the line to plant for all to come....

Duplicitous dogma of dark decree

Margo Torelli
Duplicitous dogma of dark decree
That forlornly and fractiously
reaches to snatch my scarcest Liberty
I frown on thee and all that merrily
tries to hinder my questing for Truth
spouting sarcastically I've lost my youth
the Strength of Conviction that belonged to me
the Core of Peace I knew when once in my 20's
I cast thee off and shout Be Gone
for I am not even halfway Done
and All I seek is yet to be Seen
I've just achieved Meridian Mean
so at this middle point of my Life
regardless what remains of strife
I will pursue till life is through
the Joy of Ever expanding Truth
the wildly quixotic Bliss
the Realization
there's more than This
But in the while that I wait
To Finally reach that hoped for Gate
I will attempt to continue
to push on and pull a few
other skeptical wanderers than I
to better places in their lives
Together as One - a Family
We will fight for Liberty
And proclaim upon the tree
under which we once stood
A better way of Life for All
For All a better Good

The lyrics to Neil Young’s "Let’s Impeach the President"
Let’s impeach the president for lying
And leading our country into war
Abusing all the power that we gave him
And shipping all our money out the door
He’s the man who hired all the criminals
The White House shadows who hide behind closed doors
And bend the facts to fit with their new stories
Of why we have to send our men to war
Let’s impeach the president for spying
On citizens inside their own homes
Breaking every law in the country
By tapping our computers and telephones
What if Al Qaeda blew up the levees
Would New Orleans have been safer that way
Sheltered by our government’s protection
Or was someone just not home that day?
Let’s impeach the president
For hijacking our religion and using it to get elected
Dividing our country into colors
And still leaving black people neglected
Thank god he’s racking down on steroids
Since he sold his old baseball team
There’s lot of people looking at big trouble
But of course the president is clean
Thank God
